Canvas is discontinuing the Folio/Portfolium product that CGI has been using to store student artifacts for the ePortfolio and Comprehensive Exam.
The end-of-life date is June 30, 2026. After that date, the tool will no longer be available.
During the Spring 1 and Spring 2 terms, all students should:
Create a new Portfolio using the new Canvas Portfolio tool.
Migrate all existing artifacts from the old Folio into the new Portfolio. The old Folio will remain available as a link under your Account until June 28, 2026 (Week 10 of Spring 2 Term).
You have two options:
Download artifacts from the old Folio and upload them into your new Portfolio.
Use your Canvas Files to locate items you previously submitted to assignments and add those directly to your new Portfolio.
