Zoom is reporting intermittent outages during peak usage times. Some users may not be able to connect to Zoom meetings using dial-in numbers. So far, dial-in numbers in Japan and New York (+1 646-876-9923) have reported outages.
The link below gives alternate phone numbers that you can try if you are dialing in to a webinar and are unable to connect.
Zoom advises users to join meetings using other toll numbers. At this time, no outages have been reported if you are connecting via app or computer.
Learning Continuity Plan in Case of LMS Outage
- At a minimum, please download all of the syllabi for your courses and add an alternate email address and updated cell phone number to your profile in Populi no later than Sunday at 11:59 pm.
- Use the Everyone: Be Prepared and Learning Continuity Plan pages at the CORE Library for additional guidance.
If outages do occur in the LMS, the CGI Knowledge Base and email will be our primary means of keeping you informed. The CGI Knowledge Base will post a banner across the top that will alert you to any outages and what we are doing to manage the situation. The CORE Library's website will serve as our alternate means of disseminating information.
CGI students are reporting issues with creating new accounts and logging in to old accounts at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). The IHI has changed its account structure and thus, you may need to make some adjustments to your account to continue to use the IHI.
Please review the IHI's article on logging in and troubleshooting accounts. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact the IHI directly at email@example.com or by calling 617-301-4800. They are available via phone from 8:30 – 5:00pm EST.
Proctorio has resolved its issues. Quizzes should now function smoothly.
Proctorio has announced an update that should fix the "waiting on Brightspace" issues that have presented in the my.cummingsinstitute.com learning environment. This update must be approved by Google Chrome and then it will be tested here in the learning environment.
For information on what to do regarding any scheduled quizzes/exams that use Proctorio, watch the Activity Feed in your online course or contact your instructor.
For updates on the status of Proctorio, watch the announcements here in at the Knowledge Base.
